IGAD Executive Secretary H.E. @DrWorkneh is in Ali-Sabieh and Ali-Addeh, Djibouti, to inaugurate and hand over transformative infrastructure developed under the Regional Migration Fund.

Together with Djibouti’s Minister of Decentralisation and funding partners from the German Government and KfW, the Executive Secretary is unveiling a EUR 10 million investment that will expand economic opportunities, strengthen skills development and improve essential services for more than 6,000 refugees and members of host communities.

This is regional cooperation delivering tangible impact where it matters most—in people’s lives.

La stabilité stratégique de Djibouti rassure les grandes puissances, mais à quel prix pour les droits des citoyens ?
Liberté d’expression muselée, opposants emprisonnés, presse contrôlée… Le silence complice devient une politique.
Tout le monde ferme les yeux : tortures, arrestations, exils… c’est du « bruit local ».
La realpolitik, chez nous, c’est du khat qu’on mâche sans honte, et les droits humains, on les crache comme les résidus. Quand la sécurité des bases militaires l’emporte sur les libertés fondamentales, la realpolitik ne protège plus des peuples, mais des intérêts.
