One of funnier moments from Speed's World Cup run.
Two people ask for a selfie at Spain vs. France. He thinks randos. It's Ana Botín (Exec Chair of Banco Santander) and Juan Rigo (head of Mercadona, Spain's largest grocery chain).
Botín says "he's the Walmart of Spain and I'm the JPMorgan of Europe."
She pitches him to open a checking account at her US brand OpenBank with a juicy 4% deposit interest ("OpenBank like OpenAI").
Two billionaires and some of the "most important people in Europe" but Speed "has more followers" lol
🎙️ This is Argentine TV commentator Pablo Giralt's reaction to Lionel Messi's equaliser. Passion 💯
🤣 Wait for Carlos Tevez and Sergio Agüero in the background.
I was certain a good number on them might misconstrue this and start believing they'd also won 5 WCs. This just proves this. Matheus you haven't won s**t! Stay humble!
Something very random crossed my mind yesterday while watching this game and it was when I saw the 5 stars on Brazil's badge and this here proves exactly what crossed my mind.
Brazil won their 5th WC in 2002, some of the players even this current squad were not even born but
I do not care what’s going on with injuries….. reigning premier league champions should NOT have the same amount of loses as 2 promoted teams Leeds and Sunderland. Slot has to go that is NOT acceptable, the buck lies with you, and managers have gone for less a lot less.
🚨 Arne Slot on 20 defeats this season: “For sure for a top team like us it's far too many losses and dropped points”.
“That hugely has to do with the way we concede is far too easy in general”.
My thoughts: 🤬
- Sack Slot now.
- Disgusting performance Slotball should be illegal.
- Conceded a club-record 50 goals this season. Worst defensive record of any Liverpool side in a 38-game PL era.
- Same number of defeats as Leeds in 15th.
- Rio Ngumoha was our best player by a mile — criminally underused all season.
- Van Dijk has arguably been our most dangerous attacker this season, says everything.
- Subs were dreadful.
- We create nothing from open play, only set pieces.
- Mamardashvili cannot be our No.1.
- Gakpo as backup striker next season is a joke — he was invisible again.
- Gravenberch has been dreadful and cannot start as our No.6.
- Jones looked totally disinterested — clearly off in the summer.
- Kerkez has gone massively backwards in the second half of the season.
- MacAllister was poor and that dive from Konsa was embarrassing.
- Wirtz has regressed badly under Slot.
Cannot do another season of this. 😢
