Thanks to @AMeinersWLKY for including us in her story about the Miracle League. Not only is it great to see the countless people looking for ways to help, but this shameful act of vandalism is also bringing attention to such a special organization.

Let’s find the clowns who vandalized the Miracle League of Louisville field and hold them accountable.
The league is for those with special needs. The field is rubberized, with wheelchair-accessible surface so everyone can play.
My daughter Mya is in her fourth season in the league and game day is the highlight of our week.
The pure joy that everyone from kids, parents, family members and volunteers experience every Saturday is such a beautiful thing to witness. Especially as a father of a special needs child.
To disrespect what this field and league stands for is despicable.
If you know anything about who may be responsible, please contact @LMPD.
FIRST YEAR. FIRST SHOT AT A TITLE.

I came to the Kentucky Derby to help grant a wish for a long time racing fan and got a chance to congratulate and shake hands with the Puerto Rican jockey who won the Derby, José Ortiz. He rode Golden Tempo to victory! He had a Puerto Rican flag with him and for those of you who don’t know, Puerto Rican people are the proudest people you’ll ever meet. And they will take that flag to the moon if they can. Also, Cherie DeVaux is the trainer who won! She trained Golden Tempo, the winning horse. With that win, she became the first female trainer ever to win the Kentucky Derby
About the wish granted I’ll have more to say about that tomorrow and Monday on @CBSMornings
