South Africans keep asking how much worse things can get.
That is the wrong question.
The question is what happens when decline becomes permanent.
For more than thirty years we have adapted to failure.
When electricity failed, we adapted.
When policing failed, we adapted.
When municipalities failed, we adapted.
When water systems failed, we adapted.
When roads deteriorated, we adapted.
When corruption was exposed, we adapted.
Every crisis became another inconvenience to work around.
Every failure became another expense.
Every expense became another sacrifice.
What we call resilience today would have been considered unacceptable twenty years ago.
The danger is not the collapse of institutions.
The danger is the collapse of expectations.
South Africans no longer expect functioning municipalities.
South Africans no longer expect reliable electricity.
South Africans no longer expect effective policing.
South Africans no longer expect government accountability.
We expect failure and then congratulate ourselves for surviving it.
That is not resilience.
That is surrender disguised as resilience.
The average South African is now paying to replace functions that government was created to provide.
Private security.
Solar systems.
Generators.
Water tanks.
Boreholes.
Medical aid.
Private education.
Armed response.
Tracking systems.
Insurance products designed around government failure.
Every year more responsibility moves to the citizen.
Every year more authority remains with the state.
That is the imbalance nobody is discussing.
A citizen who spends most of his income defending himself from decline is not building a future.
He is preserving the present.
His children inherit the same burden.
Then their children inherit it again.
Eventually an entire generation grows up believing this is simply how a country operates.
That is the true danger.
Not that South Africa collapses tomorrow.
Not that there is some dramatic event on the horizon.
But that decline becomes institutionalised.
Permanent.
Accepted.
Normal.
History shows that societies rarely lose their freedoms all at once.
They lose them gradually as independence becomes more expensive and dependence becomes more necessary.
The question South Africans should be asking is not whether the country is getting worse.
The evidence already answers that.
The question is this:
At what point does survival stop being resilience and start becoming acceptance?
Because once a nation accepts deterioration as normal, the battle is no longer against corruption, crime, failing infrastructure or incompetent governance.
The battle is against the belief that nothing better is possible.
And that is the moment decline stops being temporary and becomes a way of life.

An extremely obese DA cadre branded me:"racist, classist, elitist and divisive". This meant that I was fair game for persecution.
We must destroy the power of the word "racist".
I will also never forgive what was done to my people. I support the death penalty.
Essentially what has happened is that the decaying political establishment has imported millions of migrants from alien cultures that are entirely incompatible with the British way of life.
Those migrants have colonised large parts of our country, and live their lives how they choose to do so because our authorities are too frightened of being called racist to challenge them.
That has meant attitudes have flourished and spread which, in short, treat women and non-Muslims like shit.
And yes, I do mean that.
Conservative, Labour and Reform politicians are all directly responsible for this vast importation. Personally, I will never forgive anyone responsible.
Vulnerable working class white girls were treated like a piece of meat. Raped, abused, tortured, murdered. It was a racial attack, and it was a coordinated attack. All across Britain.
They targeted these girls because they were vulnerable, they were young, they were white.
Until the political class accepts that fact, nothing will EVER change.
These men do not live by the same rules as us - it is all beyond evil. And this is a coordinated network of organised crime right across the country. It is not random groups of scumbags doing this. It is a network. Organised. Ruthless. Efficient. It is an industry.
This is not homegrown. We imported it. We welcomed it. Embraced it. We continue to do so.
That was a choice.
Reversing it is also a choice. One we will make.
A Restore Britain Government will remove millions of foreign nationals who hate our way of life and have no reason to be in our country. Gone, and never allowed back.
With the British peopleโs approval, we will reintroduce the death penalty.
If a Pakistani man has been gang-raping a young English girl? Torturing her? Passing her around his brothers to also be raped?
We will put him to death. And I look forward to that. I really do.
Our report has outlined exact recommendations on what needs to be done to eradicate this cancer.
A Restore Britain Government will deliver it.
We will use the full force of the British state to crack down on these rapists and their enablers in the most brutal fashion imaginable. It will be swift and ruthless. It will be done, finally.
And I include their enablers in that.
That is why Farage tried to put me in prison. Because I wanted to deport complicit foreign family members. He found that so very extreme - admitting it on national television. Simply remarkable.

On 6 October 2015, Sophia Magarita Gehring, who lived alone in Flora Street, Riebeeckstad, was murdered by her gardener, Solomon Tladi Tlake (31). Her daughter Anna Nothnagel from Bloemfontein became worried when her mother didn't contact her as usual on her birthday. After repeated unanswered messages, Anna and her husband drove to check on her, along with police and a security firm.
They found Sophia's lifeless and swollen body inside her bedroom. Her hands and feet were tied up, her head was covered with a plastic bag, and her clothes were scattered everywhere. Her two cellphones and jewelry were stolen. The attacker had gained entry through the back door. This was a cold, calculated betrayal by someone she employed; binding her, suffocating her with plastic, and robbing her in her own home.
Tlake was arrested, convicted in the Bloemfontein Regional Court, and sentenced to life imprisonment for murder plus 15 years for robbery. While some justice was served here, it's still infuriating that these brutal attacks on elderly White South Africans by those they hire for help happen far too often under the ANC's failed governance, where farm attacks, home invasions, and betrayals destroy vulnerable White lives with little deterrence.
This highlights the constant danger for elderly White citizens living alone; trusting workers who then turn into monsters for a few items. The plastic over the head, tied limbs, and swollen body paint a horrific picture of her final moments. No one person, especially the elderly, should have to live in this fear.

What I understand her to say is that they live in agony because they know what their culture produces. They expect violence and crime. Instead of changing the outcome by taking responsibility for their actions, they choose to play the role of eternal victims.
