We had a soft launch of @SpacefastHQ yesterday before our board meeting, @batuhan (and now a team!) have been cooking what I think is the future of @WordPress and AI. You don't have to know or think WordPress, but this leverages https://t.co/1QpKVWUP79 to give you a Real Database, auth, uploads, email, @akismet / @automattic spam protection, and soon stats.

The architecture is amazing I'd actually love to talk to @Lovable et al see if we can host things for them for less than they spend now.

Datacenter space and components are getting pricey... So we might have to limit signups to prioritize our @WordPressVIP customers but get in while you can!

Embedding a survey after visitors submit my contact form. Used Contact Form 7 with a JS redirect. A custom message is displayed on the redirect page using the Block Visibility plugin. The survey is embedded via the RightMessage app. Answers sync to Convertkit, if/when subscribed.

@ChrisHufnagel Yes. I get called 'tidy towns' at home because I like to have everything organised and in it's place. The group block is my website version of 'tidy towns'!

For me, the best way I've found to understand how WordPress block themes work, is to have a basic theme, such as the Powder theme, open in a code editor, a demo site of that theme set up, then just play with everything and research developer docs.
It's been a productive morning!

@bgardner Hi Brian! Something funky is happening with the Powder style presets when the Gutenberg plugin is active. Not sure if you would prefer an issue logged via the Powder Github or not??

@jamesckemp From a Woo HE perspective, I hate having to figure out where a customers shop page is when it’s been renamed to something else. I just put ‘/shop’ at the end of the URL to save time 😀. Or I go to the cart page where I know there will be a button to take me ‘back to the store’!

Spent the afternoon playing with the WordPress Playground. Such a cool tool. I really like the Blueprint features. I need to find a way to use it for customer support purposes.

@ChrisHufnagel I don't quite understand the resistance and negativity tbh. I love a learning challenge and trying new things. As a fellow developer, I really enjoy block themes, playing with the FSE and using Gutenberg. It's energizing and exciting.
