Paul wrote in the mid-1st century with triadic formulas (2 Cor 13:14) and full deity of Christ (Phil 2:6-11, Col 1:15-17). Ignatius (c.110) called Jesus God; Tertullian coined "Trinity" c.200. Nicaea (325) defined the longstanding view against Arius's claim the Son was created—it was not invented then.
@oriontsx@BaT_MaN_23 Jesus is not a fake god. He is a historical figure with strong contemporary attestation, claimed divinity through resurrection accounts that launched the world's largest religion, and stands apart from the purely mythological figures in that image.
Europe as we know it, with its spiritual and moral heritage, is rooted in the lives and work of men and women who lived, preached, and shared the teachings of the Gospel. From this heritage, the moral foundations of the world in which we live have been handed down to us: principles such as the primacy of the person and the sacred and inviolable nature of human life; the protection of freedom; the primary importance of the family; care for the poor and those most in need; welcoming the stranger; and respect for the elderly. #ApostolicJourney #France
We cannot speak of #Europe without mentioning Christianity. Robert Schuman was well aware of this when he stated: “Christianity has taught that all people are equal by nature, children of the same God, redeemed by the same Christ, without distinction of race, colour, class, or profession. The universal law of love and charity has made every person our neighbour, and it is on this law that social relations in the Christian world have been based ever since.” #ApostolicJourney #France https://t.co/IkDJ3VwNGB
AOC wants you to boycott the guy on the left because he wanted to do his job and play music for fans….in support of the guy on the right who does Nazi salutes in Jew face…
This was never about “Palestinians”
The fact that Ed Sheeran is now the one being bullied is indicative of the toxic nature of the entire “free Palestine” cause.
No one is taking away anyone’s right to speak their mind, but that doesn’t mean you get to compel speech — especially about a political opinion, from someone else (Ed). The conduct of Macklemore and several other artists is pathetic, bigoted, and frankly disgusting.
We don’t pay to see shows for political rallies. We pay to see a concert. Any artists who thinks it’s incumbent upon them to take political stands for “fans” should get a good hard reality check. Let’s musicians be musicians.
Ed Sheeran didn’t get to $400 million by turning somebody else’s stadium into his personal soapbox.
He’s the HEADLINER. His name is on the marquee. His tour. His stage. His audience. His crew. His business.
Macklemore asked to join the tour. Ed said yes. He was handed a massive platform and an audience he didn’t have to spend years building.
And somehow the opener confused being invited with being important.
Sweetheart, there’s a reason you’re the plus-one.
You didn’t build the tour. You didn’t sell the tickets. You didn’t create the audience. You didn’t bankroll the production. You were invited to open the damn show.
So maybe don’t walk into someone else’s house, grab the microphone, hijack the room, and then act shocked when the homeowner tells you to leave.
Ed built his platform. He earned his audience. He sells out stadiums. He pays his people. He puts on the show.
The openers can keep chasing political applause and internet validation.
But being loud doesn’t make you the star. Being invited doesn’t make it your platform.
There’s a reason one name is in giant letters on the marquee.
And there’s a reason yours is nowhere to be found.
Liberal women say Charlie Kirk deserved to be killed because of the things he said.
Liberal women say Lindsay Clancy deserves to be free because she killed her children.
Liberal women are a cancer to society.
The more I know Anne Hathaway, the more I loathe her. So smug; so know-it-all. She has the cognitive acuity of my socks but speaks as though she is a cross between Darwin, Newton, and Epictetus.
I don’t understand. For decades, feminists have argued that women have full control over their minds and that even pointing out mood changes during a cycle is just male misogyny.
Now, that entire argument is getting thrown out the window because the Lindsay Clancy defense is literally claiming in open court that hormones can turn someone into a deranged psychopath capable of child murder. It’s wild to watch that narrative completely flip.
A not-guilty finding based on hormones and insanity would have crazy implications. For example, if hormonal states can legally erase accountability, why wouldn’t they also affect fitness for jobs, high-pressure decisions, firearms, and parenting?
Courts cannot treat a woman as legally insane for the worst possible act and then pretend the same reasoning has no implications anywhere else.
Also, Lindsay Clancy is no more insane than Jeffrey Dahmer, who was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, schizotypal personality disorder, and a psychotic disorder, and yet, he was still declared legally sane at trial. For the sake of those children, and for the sake of all the good that’s in this world, I hope the jury makes the only sensible decision here
If Lindsay Clancy can't be held responsible for her actions because of her hormones, then we don't need women in high pressure jobs. Jobs like, a surgeon, a judge, a politician, or a police officer, just to name a few.
🇮🇱 Archaeologists say they finally found the lost city where Jesus fed the five thousand
Ten years of digging on the shore of the Sea of Galilee, and this summer the ground finally gave it up. Coins, makeup tools, Roman walls, and half a carved column that once decorated a public building.
Then came the oil lamps. Three of them in a single day out of one patch of dirt, and that style was only ever made in Jerusalem before the year 70.
Find those and you have proof that Jewish families were living right there while Jesus walked the region.
This is Bethsaida. The Gospels put the feeding of the five thousand here and the healing of a blind man. Peter, Andrew and Philip called it home.
The dig director calls it the last lost city of the Gospels, and after a decade of pulling artifacts out of it, he says nothing they have found argues against it.
