This is important to realize. People act like it’s very hard to be a voter and constantly blackpill and complain.
For example, people lament nonstop having to vote for Paxton. That’s actually a very easy thing to do to preserve your nations and state. Get over yourself. People like Trump are doing all the hard work that most are never capable of doing.
Look at the reaction of the guys behind Trump. These people aren’t on X. They see truth social posts on Facebook and don’t really even like using Facebook anymore after COVID. Many probably don’t have their own Facebook profiles but just use their wives accounts, so they aren’t really up to date.
They found out Trump was coming to do a rally near them. They RSVP’d and got to the venue early and just found out for the first time from the President of the United States himself that a sitting congresswoman born in Somalia committed immigration fraud to become a citizen and then got elected to federal office.
The significance of this will only click with very few on this app and to no surprise once again, they’re all my mutuals.
Can’t wait for the stories of how shocked everyone is that a President with le heckin sub 40 approval ratings was able to surge GOP turnout and hold the Senate, flip Michigan, and possibly even hold the House.
@_Apollosol Great point. The online echochamber is not representative of the voter base. Neither is DC, NY, or anywhere else those doing “election analysis” are. Most have not recently spent time in the Midwest, South, Texas, etc.

@realfeel1degree@earlyvotedata@MysteryFountain The model doesn’t make sense. I don’t see how early voting data is showing that sort of margin for Talarico. But this is not an area I’m super sharp on.
SCOOP: Some House Freedom Caucus members have privately discussed kicking Rep. Brandon Gill out of the group
"He's not really in the Freedom Caucus. He's just using it for conservative bonafides," one HFC member told @axios
Gill's bid to chair Oversight is fueling resentment beyond HFC, with Republicans questioning whether viral hearing moments qualify him to lead the committee
But Gill also has powerful defenders, including Whip Tom Emmer, who called him "the future of our party."
