Did you know that @MrsErikaKirk was a tomboy as a child? We had no idea.

In this resurfaced 2012 clip, Erika recounts how she hated dresses, had short hair, played basketball from the age of 5 and was often mistaken for a boy.

It’s hard to imagine given how ultra-feminine she is today!

Had she grown up a few decades later, when gender-nonconforming kids are told they were born in the wrong body, her life would have been completely different. Thank God she didn’t.

This is an important reminder that childhood phases do not define adult identities.
