author of parody account @americanXtian. It's hard to write in character ALL the time and still have an honest conversation, so I do that here.

This is considered normal business by the leaders of both parties. It’s why we have a 22 trillion dollar deficit. It also shows why your government is - I don’t know how else to put this - very very dumb.
Did you know that for all of our tough talk about North Korea in recent years it isn’t long ago that we were giving North Korea foreign aid. In fact they got over $1b between 1996-2008. But that’s just one of many head scratching moments in wasteful government spending...
Looking back at that last tweet I probably should narrow that down. Bolton. I’m talking about John Bolton. Not all the other hawks the President hired, didn’t listen to, got mad at and fired. Neocon Apprentice really wasn’t very well thought out...
@GospelPanacea I haven't been on Twitter much but I logged in today to see this. Sorry to hear this my friend. And about your son. I'll keep you in my prayers tonight.
I keep seeing this pie chart around facebook that's trying to guilt people for not voting for the right party. So I've been dropping this in the reply section.
Listen, I know it will be tempting to make jokes after news of #ArethaFranklin 's death, but please, have some respect.
#toosoon?
(But seriously, she is a legacy and will be missed)
@offensivename@TrentPetty5@BrianZahnd but I feel the distinction needs to be made because protest is not relevant to the discussion.
Even if some country was extremely virtuous, never used violence, and was ideally peaceful, there are many who would not pledge an allegiance because their allegiance belongs to Christ.
@offensivename@TrentPetty5@BrianZahnd And you are right that someone's religious conviction could cause them to protest violence, and I'm not saying they shouldn't protest violence or that NFL players should be fired...
@AJENews Eight. The US is now involved in bombing at least 8 countries.
Afghanistan, Iraq, started by Bush; Libya, Pakistan, Yemen, Somalia, Syria, started by Obama. All these bombing campaigns have been continued by Trump, with apparently more to come.
Niger now, Iran next?
@RomanBurrows @TheFloodZone Ah. The old "# of followers" takedown. It'd been better if it was accurate (parody account has 103, but you're the one counting).
Of course you didn't know where the photo is from. The point was both that it's obviously from a church and that unkown details are not relevant.
@RomanBurrows @TheFloodZone Also, if you think this is so rare that there must be another explanation for it, then I'm afraid you have your head in the sand. This kind of church nationalism is all too common.
@RomanBurrows @TheFloodZone But I can't understand why you're questioning it in the first place.
Churches don't usually "rent out" their sanctuaries much, and if they did, I'd hope they wouldn't rent it out to an idol worshipping cult. So the criticism of covering a sanctuary with flags is valid regardless.
