A "Most Important Songs" list for the decade.
There are plenty of songs that I may have thought were "better" at some point, but these ones stuck with me more than any others, and represent the year as a whole.
I think all of these deserve a listen if you've got the time.
@slicknet@geteslint The discussion about how to build a useful API for parallelization is definitely worthwhile. There's duplicate work being done to run typescript rules over multiple cores....but no matter what, the wall time will go down, because they happen at the same time. Overhead is small.
@slicknet@geteslint I would love to upstream the work i've done to make the eslint cli parallelize across multiple cores. We've seen our total lint times, even with heavy typescript rules, go down by more than 70% on M2 Max machines. https://t.co/EOuJ4G2ydJ
Thank you to everyone I interacted with here. Your conversations, ideas, and enthusiasm for being part of this always make it feel like we’re just having fun making things happen, and that’s the best feeling there is.
I don’t really post about GDQs, but this one feels different (in mostly good ways). To start, after 10 years of only flying alone, I had someone to fly with this time. It was so wonderful being able to talk and enjoy the experience with them, and I never want to go back now.
Anyway, this turned into a lot more than just a GDQ reflection thread, but that’a how things normally go I guess lol.
This really was a great two weeks, even with the ups and downs throughout.
