Yesterday, I accompanied the Honourable Minister of State for Agriculture and Food Security, Senator Dr. Aliyu Sabi Abdullahi, CON, on a working visit to the Honourable Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr. Taiwo Oyedele, at his office in Abuja.

The meeting provided an opportunity for fruitful discussions on issues of national interest, particularly those relating to agricultural development, food security, economic growth, and the strengthening of agricultural insurance as a vital instrument for supporting farmers and enhancing national productivity.

The engagement reaffirmed our shared commitment to advancing initiatives that will strengthen the agricultural sector, enhance food security, and contribute meaningfully to Nigeria's economic growth and development. I look forward to the continued collaboration and partnership required to achieve these important national objectives.
