Jack overcame so many challenges in order to be able to play again after his liver transplant in 2003. Nobody really knew the difficulties he faced, daily pain and even having therapy to learn how to speak again, let alone sing. Yet less than two years later, with sheer determination and willpower, Jack managed to triumphantly rock the Royal Albert Hall at the Cream reunion concerts with all four nights selling out in less than one hour. Jack continued touring and recording until the end of his life 🥲 We didn’t think he was going to make it, but he surpassed all our expectations and gave us more than an extra decade. It was almost as if his motivation to perform gave him extraordinary powers. We miss you so much Jack 🌹

Happy birthday to the one and only, the legendary, the pioneering musician, composer, artist, solar eclipse enthusiast and inspiration to many, Wendy Carlos!
Biden's approval rating is 37%, a record low, one year from election. If those who claim to be concerned about Trump winning would switch their energies from shaming fellow Democrats to pressuring the party to propose a viable candidate, we may still be able to avoid Trump.
@rouleur66@OutOfCycling Chris Froome never retires. Chris Froome is just getting started. And now, suddenly, it's clear that he has been running this account all along
@EastTNwriter @historyrock_ Yeah, I remember being 5yo and staying with my grandparents when my parents went, and of course they talk about that tour all the time
Asked who Jack regarded as the best bass players in pop and rock history, he replied:
“If you’re talking electric bass, it’s very, very simple: James Jamerson, Paul McCartney, Jaco Pastorious, me.”
Controversial or do you agree?!
@GcnRacing@GrmayeBiniam @CyclingWorlds The UK is extremely unhumble and embarrassing at the moment. You're one of the top 3 evilest nations ever, you still have got a whole lot of catching up to do, and now you've turned and sprint at highest possible speed backwards!?! Holy Fuck
@Kosmo1978@historyrock_ Talking about influences might be weird because I think Beatles peaked on influences with their run of Rubber Soul, Revolver, and sgt. Pepper with sgt P being most influential but in the shortest period of time in a super trendy way. Led Zeppelin's debut was hugely influential
