Father and son, Sheikh Ali Al Hudaify and Sheikh Ahmad Al Hudaify, have been appointed for upcoming sermons: the father will deliver the Arafah Khutbah at Masjid Namirah, while his son will lead the Eid Al Adha Khutbah at Masjid Al Nabawi.
Muhammad Abdul Karim is a humble man from Afghanistan who has worked as a plumber in Saudi Arabia since the age of 19.
For over 37 years, "Hajj Muhammad" has faithfully performed the five daily obligatory prayers at the Prophet's Mosque, always standing in the very first row directly behind the Imam—meaning he has performed more than 45,000 obligatory prayers.
He takes leave during the month of Ramadan to dedicate his entire time to the Prophet's Mosque, where he serves pilgrims performing Umrah and devotes himself to the worship of God.
He provides *Iftar* (the meal to break the fast) to those fasting during Ramadan, as well as on Mondays, Thursdays, and the "White Days" (the middle three days of each lunar month); furthermore, he always takes great care to organize and arrange the copies of the Quran within the Prophet's Mosque. ❤️
Yesterday, a friend from Warri shared with me a touching story about his six-year-old daughter.
For some time, she had been asking him for something she really wanted. He had already planned to buy it for her, but his intention was to wait until June when he would be travelling abroad.
Yesterday, as he walked past her room, he overheard her praying aloud after her Salat:
“𝑶𝒉 𝑨𝒍𝒍𝒂𝒉, 𝒈𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒎𝒚 𝒅𝒂𝒅𝒅𝒚 𝒎𝒐𝒏𝒆𝒚 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒖𝒚 𝒊𝒕 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒎𝒆.”
He said the moment gave him chills. Without hesitation, he decided that he would buy it the very next day.
True to his word, he bought it and handed it over to her yesterday. To his great surprise, she immediately exclaimed, “Alhamdulillah! Allah has answered my prayers.”
She later told her mother that since the beginning of Ramadan, even though she does not fast yet, she makes that same dua after every Salat.
Moments like this remind us of the purity of a child’s faith and the sincerity of their connection with Allah.

After a certain age, your parents slowly become your children.
They ask simple questions, repeat stories, and depend on your patience the way you once depended on theirs. Very few understand this role reversal. What looks like innocence or inconvenience is really time coming full circle. Don’t correct them harshly. Don’t rush them. Care for them the way they once protected you. This is not a burden. It is repayment, quietly wrapped as love.
