@zBearsz @IOHK_Charles Definitely missed that haha

[Tony Handle @amhandle]

@sighrijaa @TowsonU I didn't know there was a 24/7 study area. Where is that?

[Tony Handle @amhandle]

#RLST305a would anybody be interested in meeting up to discuss Hamdy's book in preparation for our paper? If so, my number is 2406824118.

[Tony Handle @amhandle]

#RLST305a does anyone think about how once 3-D printed organs become more common, we won't really need to have this discussion anymore?

[Tony Handle @amhandle]

#RLST305a if you look at helping people as a business that pays your bills, then it's not in your best interest for everyone to be healthy.

[Tony Handle @amhandle]

@hshipl2 I agree, that is completely unethical. That is essentially the same as actively killing someone based on their religion.

[Tony Handle @amhandle]

#RLST305a it seems to me, most people in our class would support Edmond Cahn's opinion on the actions of the crew of the William Brown.

[Tony Handle @amhandle]

@sighrijaa I can relate

[Tony Handle @amhandle]

#RLST305a ....does anyone else think that the white doctors' condemnation of black males' sex drive comes more from a feeling of inadequacy?

[Tony Handle @amhandle]

@acilluffotu What if that person has an underlying mental illness causing them to believe their quality of life is worse than it really is?

[Tony Handle @amhandle]

#RLST305a if a person is unable to function but also unable to die, wouldn't a religious leader wish to free their soul so they can pass on?

[Tony Handle @amhandle]

@afalve2 What if God's plan for someone is to die, but the technology that we have developed is interfering with God's will by prolonging their life?

[Tony Handle @amhandle]

#RLST305a the story of the parents who wanted to conceive a child to use to save another child, discusses an issue I've never heard before.

[Tony Handle @amhandle]

#RLST305a if God intervened to help a couple become pregnant, that would make Him the creator of IVF. Isn't it encouraged to do as God does?

[Tony Handle @amhandle]

#RLST305a I find it interesting that every major religion tries to give meaning to suffering. I guess a purposeful burden is easier to bear.

[Tony Handle @amhandle]

#RlST305a I liked the explaination that the difference between East and West is, "The East treats the person; the West treats the disease."

[Tony Handle @amhandle]

@amhandle this is a late post for last week's reading of Chapter 1.

[Tony Handle @amhandle]

#RLST305b I think it is interesting that tradition plays a bigger part in the moral debates of Jews than Catholics.

[Tony Handle @amhandle]

#RLST305a I think it is important that the author said in his conclusion, religions can provide closure, but only for the faithful.
