Bi/Ace/Aego. She/her. 30+. Liberal snowflake. Party of three. Fortuna-devoted chaos witch. ADHD/Bipolar. Kentuckian transplant in Little Rock. I block assholes.
If you are a trans minor in Central Arkansas who now needs to seek medical care in a neighboring state and transportation is a barrier, hit me up. I've got a Prius. It's great on gas. I'll drive you and your parent to your appointment.
Blocked by a system whose work for the community I greatly admire, as was their right to do. But I'm clearly doing no good for myself or anyone else on Twitter. Time to step back. See y'all down the line, perhaps.
@the_corvidae I know you massively dislike and distrust therapists, as is your right given your experiences with them. Not trying to dispute that many of them are assholes and the profession is flawed. Just don't want to mischaracterize this person and their positions.
@the_corvidae "Aggressive aphobe" isn't accurate here. It's coming from a place of concern that asexual people in sexual relationships are necessarily being coerced into them and traumatized. I can't consider that "aggressive" aphobia when there are really people calling for us to be raped.
Lying awake because I'm worried about a repeat of last night, where I woke up once an hour or more and the bits of dream I do remember involved things like barbecued people and my mom birthing kittens.
@The_Ace_Couple Fourteen. -Fourteen?- There are plenty of people who aren't ace who were still definitely not comfortable with sex at fourteen. Holy shit.
@the_corvidae A therapist I otherwise like and respect takes the position that sex without attraction always yields trauma. I'm in my 30s and have been out as ace since 19. I think I or my own therapists would have noticed that by now if it were the case for me. 3/3
@the_corvidae There -has- to be a fundamental lived experience difference between people who have known they were ace and lived as ace since puberty and people who are traumatized by years of not knowing about asexuality and seeing themselves as broken and having coerced sex. 2/
@RamoneAngellot1@GaylaKilts@RpsAgainstTrump Approximately zero Democrats believe an election was rigged when we lose. We can point at social problems, gerrymandering, and disenfranchisement as factors, but we're perfectly aware we live in right-wing hellholes where our fellow citizens voted fairly for the winner.
@RpsAgainstTrump AP called the election for her before any districts had tallied. She ran as a Republican in Arkansas and was guaranteed a win. She knew this and did zero campaigning. And now we're stuck with her.
@InsomniacDoggo @KandyElmo Gah. Hit enter by accident. But ENM also includes swinging and sexual kinks that involve bringing in more partners and some other stuff. Not all non-monogamous behavior is about maintaining multiple loving relationships.
@evolved_Terito @HolderOfEnd@PandasAndVidya I think WinRAR might actually be most famous for being the program that tells you it isn't free and you should buy it every time you launch it after the trial is over... but it keeps working anyway.
@mariofotos@kraywhiseheart IIRC, a lot of the "evidence" in Zeitgeist for Jesus as a sun god relies specifically on "sun" and "son" being homophones... which doesn't work in languages other than English. Definitely not in Latin, Greek, or Hebrew, which are the relevant languages when discussing the Bible.
