@hadip@hadip@codeorg There is some confusion as to whether this is in addition to Hour of Code or a replacement for Hour of Code. Any clarification is greatly appreciated!
@jakebask Wording about CSTA membership on the latest email is very confusing. Are the people not willing/able to pay still welcome in CSTA?

@RAD_is_awesome Except having the PowerPoint as a printed handout, projected on the screen, *and* read out loud to you. Much like most of my education classes.
@CollegeBoard@AP_Trevor, for many decades there have been no security issues with physical AP exams (at least none made public). Can you speak to the failures this past year? And why the choice to push the digital exams up instead of mitigate any physical issues that seem to have appeared?
@EducationNext "gold standard"? Really? Last I heard, Harvard wont accept a 5 on the AP Calculus exam and instead requires all students to take a mathematics placement exam. As an AP teacher, I take serious issue with "gold standard".
@lzsthw The zero byte python3.exe program that is pathed on Windows and serves only to connect to the Windows store (which is, of course, blocked by my employer) is the bane of my teaching existence. However, I do like Visual Studio Code.

"The effects of Hanfordโs reporting are undeniable: shifts in classroom practice, countless school-district curriculum adoptions, and legislation in nearly every state in the country aimed at advancing instruction grounded in 'the science of reading.'" https://t.co/C402kZ7j18
@csteachersorg So easy to insist something needs to be added to the K-12 curriculum. So much harder to deal with the inevitable zero sum game that means something has to be removed.
Sadly, some people suggest replacing Algebra 2 with data science...
