How is this bullying or inciting a hate train? Suzi literally laughs at & mocks RE VA in various games all the time

@SuperbMisfit &idk why this pushing this false narrative of Suzi started the hate train when she didnt. People were hating on every trailer Ada spoke in but no official cast was released yet. Once it was out & Lily posted on her IG confirming it was her, that’s when the haters knew where to go

@Obsessive_Gamer lol so Steve Kniebihly decided to give everyone else direction except her? I dont think SW was much better but agree she was more comfortable, but only bc she's mostly talking to herself. When she has to share scenes with other acters, her lack of VA experience is really exposed

@EliannysPerfec2 Did you ever follow the RE9 dev leaks at all? I try not to engage in leak talks for my friend's sake lol but I heard she potentially she could have a new one but development did change midway. I don't know many concrete things but you can message me for other smaller details.

@EliannysPerfec2 Definitely just thinking about the best way of being cheap & lazy. I'd be more shocked if they bring her back after everything. I have a friend who knows someone in the industry & there's a high chance of her getting a new VA, but that easily couldve changed in the dev cycle

@VashKohime @Odd_jedi & Lily went on record to say she didn't know the role existed & not on her radar (of course bc she's not a VA) it was Capcom who reached out to her directly, telling her they liked what she did in her 1 min of total screentime & asked her to "audition" aka handed the role to her

@FrostbyteFever Yeah & it's an indie game too. Like of course people are gonna expect better VA from Capcom, a AAA company. If Lily was casted for an indie game there wouldn't have any big outrage, but they replaced Ada's previous BAFTA nominated VA with someone with literally 0 VA experience.

@Axelito200604 @NobodyIsOurGuy I doubt Anette's shot would kill her, she survived a bridge fall & Mr. X. Ada actually reflects a lot of her RE2 missteps are bc of encountering Leon. It's less lack of intelligence & more prioritizing her feelings. U could argue post RE2, she'd be smarter not to help Leon at all

Now the stans are pushing this false narrative that people only disliked her VA bc Suzi started the hate train

@TW0HEADEDBEAST And at least this is an indie game where you can understand why they'd go for cheap VA, I expect way more more from a AAA company like Capcom than for them to cast someone with 0 VA experience after already casting someone better for same character in a game made 4 years prior

Most of the backlash is more likely her being trans or they claim she's an industry shill & hate that, and majority of those people also didn't like Lily's VA either

@youtoastbread put in everything that should've been in the main game. TBH I've seen a lot of hardcore Leon fans see RE9 as wasted potential for his character arc from RE6, hoping it wouldve explored his relationship with the corrupt government and if he would finally choose to leave.

@youtoastbread too many question they didn't have time to cover in the main game despite knowing it would be a obvious omissions. The latest DLC was clearly rushed, they dont even have mercenaries done, so I can somewhat believe the main DLC could come later than planned bc they are behind &
