El discurso de “¡todos son iguales!” es un buen cierre para una canción de Yuri, pero en la política es precisamente lo que desmoviliza las bases de la izquierda posible (ciertamente no ideal) y lleva al poder a gente como los Bolsonaro.
If you were conscious, that is to say totally present in the Now, all negativity would dissolve almost instantly. It could not survive in your presence. It can only survive in your absence.
If it's sex you want, say it. If it's love you want, say it. If it's a situationship you want, say it. If you want a committed relationship, say it. If you want marriage, say it. But don't deceive anyone with the idea of love just because you want to sleep with them. If everyone behaved like this, the world would have less heartbreak
@trader1sz What does have to see the speed and the bacon?. This very mechanism [compute] was a Turing homosexual innovation so dont mix the very logic of Imperial economics with his sex cuz has nothing to do one with another. In any case scheming eunucs
You need to stop and read this again…
Warren Buffet’s final words of advice from his very last annual letter 🥹
"One perhaps self-serving observation. I’m happy to say I feel better about the second half of my life than the first. My advice: Don’t beat yourself up over past mistakes – learn at least a little from them and move on. It is never too late to improve. Get the right heroes and copy them. You can start with Tom Murphy; he was the best.
Remember Alfred Nobel, later of Nobel Prize fame, who – reportedly – read his own obituary that was mistakenly printed when his brother died and a newspaper got mixed up. He was horrified at what he read and realized he should change his behavior.
Don’t count on a newsroom mix-up: Decide what you would like your obituary to say and live the life to deserve it.
Greatness does not come about through accumulating great amounts of money, great amounts of publicity or great power in government. When you help someone in any of thousands of ways, you help the world. Kindness is costless but also priceless. Whether you are religious or not, it’s hard to beat The Golden Rule as a guide to behavior.
I write this as one who has been thoughtless countless times and made many mistakes but also became very lucky in learning from some wonderful friends how to behave better (still a long way from perfect, however). Keep in mind that the cleaning lady is as much a human being as the Chairman."
And then today, his last letter to shareholders as chairman…
There’s an interesting trend in how Putin has been filmed lately: more and more slightly awkward footage that would previously have been cut or reshot. In one recent clip, he redoes a speech, yet they leave the first, slightly botched attempt in. Nothing particularly bad, but it’s interesting that they’re increasingly letting these little imperfections survive. Major "spending time with your grandpa" energy.
-gyms exist
-Coke Zero exists
-hot girls outnumber put-together dudes 2000 to 1
-you and your wife can get drunk at a dimly-lit steakhouse then smash all night without a condom
-you and your friends can hit the gym then smoke a joint at a Coldplay concert
There are people who live in wheelchairs. There are kids born with disabilities. No Prom, no Shoulder Presses, no sleepovers with their best friends staying up til 2AM watching Interstellar.
And you’re not SMASHING the gym like a GRATEFUL SAVAGE!? Eating healthy 90% of the time, calling your friends for no reason, CRUSHING it in your career, ASKING for the raise!? Asking out your crush making her your girlfriend then your wife!?
You’re spinning on a sphere in an infinite universe and the fact you’re alive is a 1 in 500 trillion miracle - you’re so lucky it’s absurd and you have nothing to lose :)
