මම මෙවර පාර්ලිමේන්තු මැතිවරණයට ඉදිරිපත් වෙනවා. ඔබ මගේ දේශපාලන චින්තනයට එකගවුනත් නැතත්, මම කොළඹින් චන්දෙ ඉල්ලන්න හේතුව කියවන්නැයි මම ඔබට ආරාධනා කරනවා.

මම මුලින්ම චන්දයක් ඉල්ලුවේ 2018 පොදුජන පෙරමුණ කුළුදුලේ මැතිවරණයකට මුහුණ දෙද්දී කොළඹ නගර සභාවට. සාමාන්‍යයෙන් පළාත් පාලන චන්දයකට ඉදිරිපත් නොකරන ප්‍රමිතියෙන් ඉහල ප්‍රතිපත්ති මාලාවක් 'ඔබ දිනවන කොළඹ ගමන' නමින් එළිදක්වල අපේ කදවුරේ කැම්පේන් එකට විචිත්‍රවත් බවක් එකතුකලා. අවුරුදු 3 ක් නගර සභාවෙ ඉදල, තව අවුරුද්දක් දීර්ඝ කලාම ඉල්ලා අස්වෙලා ඒ තනතුර තවත් තරුණයෙකුට භාරදීලා මම ජාතික දේශපාලන කටයුතු වලට සම්බන්ධ වුනා.

2019 මාව ගෝඨාභය රාජපක්ෂ ජනාධිපති අපේක්ෂකතුමාගේ මාධ්‍ය ප්‍රකාශක බවට පත්කලා. ශ්‍රී ලංකා ඉතිහාසයේ වර්ණවත් සහ උපක්‍රමශීලීම කැම්පේන් එකකින් අපි ඔහුව 69 ලක්ෂයේ ජනවරමේ ජනාධිපති බවට පත්කලා. ඊට පහුවෙනිදාම මම ඒ තනතුරින් අයින් වෙලා ජනමාධ්‍ය අමාත්‍යාංශයේ තනතුරක් අරන් මහන්සිවෙලා වැඩකලා. 2024 මැතිවරණය නිවේදනය කලාම ඒ තනතුරින් ඉල්ලා අස්වෙලා නාමල් රාජපක්ෂ අපේක්ෂකතුමාගේ කැම්පේන් වැඩ පටන්ගත්තා.

මගේ ගම කොළඹ - අනුරාධපුර පාර අයිනෙ තියෙන 'වැරැල්ල' කියල ගමක්. අපේ ගේ තියෙන්නෙ ලොකු කුඹුරු යායක් අයිනේ. අපේ තාත්තා ගොවියෙක්. අපෙ අම්මා අපි ඉපදෙන්න කලින් ගණිතය ඉගැන්නුවා. අපි පොඩිකාලේ තාත්ත මැරුණම ආයෙත් ග්‍රාමීය බැංකුවෙ වැඩට ගියා. මම පාදෙණිය ඉස්කෝලෙන් ශිෂ්‍යත්වෙ පාස්වෙලා ප්‍රතිඵල එන දවසෙත් අපි ගොයම් කපනවා.

මම ලෝකෙ හැම මහාද්වීපයකම, රටවල් 52 කට විතර ගිහින්, තරුණ තරුණියෝ දාස් ගාණක් එක්ක සම්මන්ත්‍රණ, පුහුණු, වැඩමුළු, උත්සව කරල තියෙනවා. එක්සත් ජාතීන්ගේ සංවිධානයේ වැඩකරද්දියි, IPPF එකේ සේවය කරද්දියි තමයි ඇෆ්ඝනිස්ථානය, ඉරානය, භූතානය වගේ රටවල ඉදන් චීනය, රුසියාව, ඇමරිකාව දක්වාම යන්න පුලුවන් වුනේ.

මගෙ මුලු අධ්‍යාපනයම නිදහස් අධ්‍යාපනයේ තිළිණයක්. මලියදේවෙ ඉද්දි ශිෂ්‍යාධාර ලැබුණා. වයඹ කැම්පස් එකට ගියාම මහපොල ලැබුණා. පිටරට ඉගෙන ගන්න ගියෙත් ශිෂ්‍යත්වයක් හදාගෙන. මම පොත් තුනක් ලීවා. 'අයිතිකාරයෝ භාරනොගත් ලියුම් සීයක්', 'කොරෝනා ඩයරිය' සහ 'දරිද්‍රතාවයේ සිට සැම්සුන් දක්වා: කොරියාවේ සංවර්ධන මොඩලය'. පොත් දාස් ගාණක් කියෝලනම් ඇති.

ලංකාවේ දේශපාලන සංස්කෘතිය දියුණුකරන්න අපි හැම පක්ෂයකම තරුණ නායකයන් එකතුකරලා 2017 අවුරුද්දේ NextGenSL ආයතනය හැදුවා. ලංකාවෙ ඉන්න බොහෝ රාජ්‍යතාන්ත්‍රික, ඉහලම ව්‍යාපාරිකයන්, සියලුම පක්ෂ නායකයන්, බුද්ධිමතුන්, ලංකාවට එන විදේශ දූතයන් NextGenSL හරහා තමා රටේ බොහොමයක් තරුණ දේශපාලන නායකයන් ආමන්ත්‍රණය කරන්නේ. පුහුණු කරන්නේ. අද ලංකාවේ ගොඩනැගෙමින් තියෙන සුභවාදී දේශපාලන සංවාදය නිර්මාණය කරන්න අපි ගොඩාක් මහන්සිවුනා.

සමහරු කියනවා ලේසි වෙලාවක, පක්ෂය හොදට දිනන වෙලාවක චන්දෙ ඉල්ලන්න කියල. අපේ දෙමව්පියෝ ගමේ ශ්‍රී ලංකා නිදහස් පක්ෂයට වැඩකලේත්, මම ශිෂ්‍ය දේශපාලනය කලෙත්, 2017 පොදුජන පෙරමුණ හදන්න මැදිහත්වුනෙත් බලලෝභය නිසා නෙවෙයි, අපි විශ්වාසකරන සමාජ ප්‍රජාතන්ත්‍රවාදී දේශපාලන මතවාදය දිනවන්න. අපේ කදවුර වෙනුවෙන් මම රූපවාහිනී වැඩසටහන් සියගාණක වාද විවාද කරල තියෙන්නෙත්, රැස්වීම් හාර පන්සීයක කතාපවත්වල තියෙන්නෙත්, ලිපි දාස් ගාණක් ලියල තියෙන්නෙත්, මගේ දේශපාලන ව්‍යායාමය හුදෙක්ම මතවාදී සටනක් නිසාමයි. අනෙක් දේශපාලන කදවුරු දෙසත් ගෞරවයෙන් බලන්නේ ඒ බුද්ධිමය සංයමය නිසයි.

අසීරුම මොහොතේත් මම පොදුජන පෙරමුණ දාල යන්නෙ නෑ. කර්කශම මොහොතේත් මම පොදුජන පෙරමුණ වෙනුවෙන් කොළඹ දිස්ත්‍රික්කයේ මනාපය ඉල්ලන්න නාම යෝජනා දෙනවා.

හැමදාම මම මහන්සිවුන විදියටම ගරු කටයුතු කැම්පේන් එකක් කරන්න ඔබේ හිතවත් සුභාශිංසනය ඉල්ලා සිටිමි. අපේ ආර්ථිකයට දරාගන්න පුලුවන් විදියට කැම්පේන් එකක් කරන්න්න ඔබේ මූල්‍යමය අත-හිතද ඉල්ලා සිටිමි. හැමදේටම උඩින් මම මනුස්සකම් තියල තියෙන නිසා, නිවාඩු පාඩු වෙලාවක මගේ කැම්පේන් එකට පැයකින් දෙකකින් හෝ උදව්වක් කරන්නැයි ආරාධනා කරමි.
