No no. Not heart, that would be deadly. You are supposed to give strangers the time, with all the heart you have behind you, your attention, your conversational prowess, knowing that you may never meet again. But don’t quote me, because I have it off. It is 9:43pm by the way.
I bottle fed a calf once. It was pretty intense being in the barn with a pissed off mom and baby. I kind of wonder why I am drinking milk now. Sometimes I crave cow milk.
I am kind of proud of my “girly” tack fix on the curtain hardware I did. Did not have a washer::: (clothes are still clean). I jest. Probably a temporary fix at best.
One to One. I can’t wait to talk about her about what I believe about religion and spirit. I am conflicted about it all anyway, often deeply sad. More than I let on I am sad. Or more than I had let on. Somewhere in the in between, is me, is life, is forgiveness and grace. Love.
My small wins lately have involved moving small items to make spaces tidier. Being polite on phone calls is also a small change I have been working on. I did not make but maybe two phone calls in all of growing up. Maybe it is a win, but it is one I am increasingly stressed but
The thing stresses me, like a cramp to my style, but also like a cracking open of the head that I could have had a wingwoman the whole time. She believes in destiny, I believe in open options, choices for path & potential. Either way we found each other & are found of each other.
There is this saying, Buddhist I believe, that when you meet some one, you should do your best to give your heart to them in such a way because you may never meet them again. Put your lifetime behind interacting; learned this new, but sometimes all that comes to me is a “hey.”
