Former Vice President Leni Robredo has expressed her support for former Commission on Audit (COA) Commissioner Heidi Mendoza, stating that she will "definitely vote" for her in the upcoming Senate elections.

Robredo made the statement in response to a Facebook comment on Sunday, February 9, urging her to include Mendoza in the campaign alongside former Senators Kiko Pangilinan and Bam Aquino. The comment read: "Baka naman, President Leni Gerona Robredo, pwede n'yo po isama sa campaign with Kiko-Bam si Ma'am Heidi🫶 Panahon na para sa tuwid na pamamahala. Tama na sa mga pulitiko na nagpapayaman sa pwesto. Ihalal ang mga karapat-dapat!"

Earlier, Robredo had called on Filipinos to rally behind Pangilinan and Aquino as they seek a return to the Senate in 2025.

In a video shared on social media in January, Robredo reflected on her political journey, thanking her allies and supporters for their dedication. She emphasized Pangilinan and Aquino's commitment to truth, justice, and good governance.

"Matagal-tagal na rin po tayong magkakasama. Sa isang dekada kong paninilbihan bilang lingkod-bayan, nariyan po kayo, tumindig sa tabi ko, at sinamahan akong iangat ang kalagayan ng ating mga kababayan," Robredo said.

She recalled their shared struggles and stressed the importance of adding more allies to the Senate to overcome future challenges.

"Kaya sa 2025, muli kong hinihingi ang inyong tulong. Isa na namang napakalaking hamon ang ating haharapin, at malalagpasan natin ito kung madadagdagan tayo ng mga kakampi—na kakampi sa mga Pilipino," she added.

Robredo urged Filipinos to support Pangilinan and Aquino, describing them as "the light in the darkness" for the 2025 elections.

1) The president of South Korea expected an impeachment from the opposition.

2) To prevent that, he declared martial law banning all political activity!

3) The Korean army came and closed off the parliament to prevent MPs to come in and vote!

4) Korean MPs climbed over the fence and made their way to the parliament, breaching the block!

5) The special forces tried to storm the parliament, to stop the “political activity”

6) The parliament was as able to vote, and they voted unanimously to lift the martial law and lift all restrictions!

7) The army not know what to do first, decided to abide by the parliament and left!

8) Martial law will remain in place in South Korea until the president issues a decree to lift it.

The president is constitutionally obliged to lift martial law after a decision by parliament.

9) The South Korean president is expected to be arrested and impeached, according to media reports.
