Diomande has had Kimmich on toast since the first whistle.
Complete mismatch.
He has Doku-esque inevitability.
Also plays with incredibly maturity despite only being 19.
He has been WOW good in this World Cup.
Thing is, that can happen to Kimmich. But he did it to Hincapié too, and he is one of the best lockdown fullbacks in the world…
Badly need Korea, Japan and Iran to take the AFC Asian Cup more seriously next year.
It's time to humble Qatar, just like they've been humbled throughout this World Cup.
If Martinelli somehow ends up signing for Bayern Munich, I can already see the reactions coming from Arsenal fans a few months later:
"We should have kept him."
"Arteta didn't use him properly."
"We sold him too soon."
That's how football works. People rarely appreciate what they have until it's gone.
The amount of disrespect Martinelli gets from some sections of the fanbase is genuinely baffling. This is a player who was once described as a generational talent by Jurgen Klopp. Klopp didn't hand out compliments like that for free. He saw something special in Martinelli, just like many of us did.
The problem is that people judge him based on what Arsenal currently ask him to do rather than what his actual strengths are. Martinelli is at his best when he's attacking space, making aggressive runs in behind, driving at defenders and playing in a fast, transitional system. Those are the qualities that made him one of the most feared young wingers in Europe.
Now imagine him in this current Bayern Munich side. A team that attacks relentlessly, creates chances for fun and gives their wide players freedom to express themselves. Martinelli would thrive. In fact, I genuinely believe he'd surprise a lot of people and even outshine Olise in certain aspects of the game.
People are too focused on what Martinelli isn't instead of appreciating what he is. Pace, work rate, movement, pressing intensity, directness and goal threat don't just disappear overnight.
Some Arsenal fans are going to learn a very painful lesson if he ever leaves. Because the moment he's tearing up the Bundesliga, the same people calling him expendable today will be posting compilations and asking why we ever let him go.
Y'all don't know what you have until you lose it.
My first time watching soccer but I'm surprised fans of a club called Arsenal in England wanted this Turkish player Yildiz over the Brazilian one I watched earlier today Martinelli. He was so good today I can't understand why
Tu dia. Sial!
Wait, you actually thought we only have 1/2 pair of hijab in our closet and didn’t change them daily???? 😂
We bought 5 hijab of the same colour and change them daily for work.
If talking about hygiene, how sure are you people without hijab wash their hair daily?
