Just in: A d£af and d+mb man at Ogbeijoh Market reportedly kept his daily earnings with an Aboki for safekeeping.
After news of his d£+th spread yesterday, the man returned today with all the money he had kept for him, leaving everyone shocked to find out the D£af man was very wealthy .
Many social media influencers claimed an attack in the Nigerian city of Jos in March was targeting Christians – but #BBCAfricaEye has found that both Muslims and Christians were killed, and that authorities have yet to establish a motive.
Egypt head coach Hossam Hassan speaking to beIN Sports, via France24:
“I told the referee that what was happening wasn’t fair. It’s an undeserved victory for Argentina.
“Once I’m back in my country and at home. I’ll never watch the World Cup again, because there’s no justice in this competition.”

But why is Pantami being assessed differently, and attacked more harshly than even less experienced aspirants? There are people with uninspiring credentials and administrative qualifications running for various public offices, some with histories that are hardly praiseworthy, yet none of them is being subjected to this level of obsessive scrutiny.
Most of his critics have no idea who he is running against. They seem interested only in his takedown. Let us at least pretend that we are comparing him with other aspirants and faulting him based on where he ranks, instead of singling him out for exceptional treatment.
I understand the argument that his clerical activities may not align with his political adventure, especially since politics is often seen as a practice of double-speak and dishonesty. But since he is running for political office, we should assess him as a politician and not as a candidate for the Imamate.

I am very serious on this. It will be a pleasure to be part of the Dangote legacy. I could have leveraged my “networks and connections” to send my CV to Capt, but I posted this publicly for 2 reasons.
1. To encourage others to not shy away from asking for what they want in the fear of failure or rejection. Be confident in yourself and push yourself towards achieving your goals and leave the rest to God. What is yours will never miss you, what is not yours will never hit you.
2. To emphasize that as much as this app is a leveler, we should never abuse the access it provides. Some people here have the means to change your life completely. Know your level and respect yourself. Don’t ever be a sycophant but also don’t package for your helper.
Fingers crossed.
OPERATION ENDURING PEACE INTENSIFIES SECURITY MEASURES TO CURB ESCALATION OF TENSIONS WITHIN JOS METROPOLIS
In a proactive move to prevent further escalation of the ongoing crisis in Jos North, troops of Operation ENDURING PEACE, initiated a comprehensive stop-and-search exercise across the Jos metropolis on Friday. This strategic intervention is part of a broader mandate to restore absolute normalcy and ensure the safety of lives and property within the State.
The heightened security presence yielded immediate results as troops successfully intercepted and arrested 2 suspects as well as recovered one fabricated AK-47 rifle along with four rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition and one pump action with a cutlass. The arrest and recoveries were made during targeted operations conducted across key flashpoints and transit routes, including Jos North and Jos South, along Dadinkowa, the Old Airport Junction, Tudun Wada, and the State Low-cost housing estate.
In a simultaneous development, troops also responded swiftly to a distress call regarding sporadic shooting in the Yelwa Cattle Market area of Shendam. Upon arrival of the troops, the unidentified gunmen were forced to retreat into the surrounding bushes under superior tactical pressure. During a subsequent sweep of the immediate vicinity, troops discovered two local residents who had sustained gunshot wounds. The victims were immediately evacuated to a nearby medical facility for urgent treatment.
The Command reiterates its unwavering commitment to maintaining a dominant security presence throughout Plateau State. The operations will continue with increased vigour until the threat of violence is completely neutralized and lasting peace is firmly re-established across all affected Communities.
