As a builder I always neglected marketing until I became a founder.
As a founder, I found marketing the thing I enjoy the most. So much so, it became the problem that I wanted to solve for my customers.
If you’re building a solution that could genuinely help people, you’d want it as many hands as you can.
Basically.
You mostly don’t have to do anything that cool or really be cool in LA. Just have the following status markers:
1. Soho house membership
2. Erewhon membership and delivery
3. Lease a BMW/Porsche/Benz or own a relatively new Tesla/Lucid
4. Instagram account with at least 20K followers
5. Rent a pad with the ability to host (one/ two roommate(s) is okay)
