We've downloaded SaveME 999 and it seems to be an overcomplicated way to call for help.

The sign up process is tedious and surprisingly there's no MyDigital ID login option despite being developed by Jabatan Digital Negara.

If you need to use the app to call for help, you need to login and the biometric feature doesn't seem to work.

Calling for SOS should be frictionless as calling 999. Instead of a new app, the govt should work closely with Apple, Google and Huawei to tap on their built-in SOS feature.
