@mtaibbi Stop being such an accuracy absolutist! We're almost in 2026 Matthew; get with the times. I'd bet money you were against the well intentioned albeit short lived Disinformation Governance Board, smh... #minitrue#ignoranceisstrength
Important: Seized cash still in Fed Reserve packaging (Atlanta & Kansas City marks).
Local law requires unpacking for state banks. Means it was stolen upon arrival in Ukraine - never reached the banks.
@michaelmalice what year did you graduate @StuyNY? If my calculations are correct you were one of the first classes in the new building, right? '05 here... ๐
@Bigtymer781@mchooyah Yea, nobody likes the grammar police, and it would be nice if their intervention wasn't ever necessary... As it stands, someone's gotta do it lol
As a follow up to this (some "AI assistant account just liked the tweet so it was in my notifications,) they closed my account a couple months later. There was no activity in between the inquiry and the forced closure, so I guess buying and withdrawing BTC is a nono...
Are these fuckers serious? You can laugh at me for responding with anything more than a "gfy", but I'm more interested to see how they respond than anything else. As a NYS resident I'm used to jumping through #aml/#kyc hoops but this is ridiculous, @Gemini. @tyler@cameron
More or less the response I expected, but tots lame. "Your investment in Bitcoin and your approach to custody are entirely you business, and we respect your decision." So they're agreeng that they were prying for info that was none of their business; am I reading that correctly?
@jordanbpeterson Side note: I have no safety concerns and since 2009 @amishnick has never disguised my identity. I made @AmishBTC several years ago when I wanted to see if I could get any audience with only Bitcoin related tweets and no previous network.
@jordanbpeterson How many instances of real safety for journalists, activists, religious or political refugees, etcetera would be sufficient to justify the ongoing anonymity that is currently available to all on this platform, in your opinion?
Maybe Canada is pretty bad but there are MUCH worse locations worldwide for those who would use their voice. Looked at a different way, is there a ceiling of persecution/torture/death, under which you believe abolishing anonymity is worth the potential cost?
There are a lot of comments I'd like to make about this "debate," but all I'll say is my favorite part is when he said to use a venn diagram lmao ๐คฃ๐คฃ @MaxBlumenthal
@BretWeinstein
I was just watching this less than 30 minutes ago, and then after pausing it for about 10 minutes when I tried to turn it back on it's unavailable in this country, the United States. Grrrr....

@PeterSchiff And all that being said, I'll happily accept the cancelation of as much as my debt as possible, if it ever happens. Funny thought, I imagine many who demanded the forgiveness would be surprised & outraged the following year when they receive a 1099-C that they have to report, lol
@PeterSchiff You've explained this in great detail over the years. All that being said; regardless of how fucked up and predatory student loans are, socializing the cost of individual investments that didn't pan out is not any kind of solution. It's wrong, and it will make things worse.
@RepMTG Glad you and family are safe; was just listening to you telling @TuckerCarlson about this yesterday. It's ridiculous...
๐ Merry Christmas ๐
