BLACKMAIL: Trudeau’s thugs try to cancel Rebel News conference

Our annual 'Rebel News Live' conference almost didn’t happen — because Trudeau’s staff tried to blackmail us.

A few months ago, we signed a contract with a Toronto event venue for the conference. They were excited to have us and dedicated to freedom of speech. They even put that in their contract with us.

But the event venue is located in Downsview Park, a former military base in north Toronto. So the land underneath it is still owned by the federal government. It’s administered by a crown corporation called Canada Lands Company. That’s Trudeau’s landlord.

We thought nothing of it. But then, just over a week ago, the panicked owner of the event venue told us that the government was demanding nearly $50,000 in extra security for our event. Not only did we have to hire dozens more security guards, we had to pay money to the Toronto Police to protect us, too. Don’t our taxes already pay for the police?

It gets weirder. Trudeau’s landlord demanded that we provide barriers for hundreds of protesters they claimed were coming. As in, we had to provide security for them, too. And – bizarrely – they demanded we pay for portable toilets for those imaginary protesters, too.

And if we didn’t do these things, the event would be cancelled.

Obviously, the event venue couldn’t afford a $50,000 cost. And neither could we. And that’s the point – it wasn’t a real security concern. It was just the excuse they came up with to make it impossible for us to proceed.

Trudeau was trying to cancel our annual conference.

But then a miracle happened. Our friends at Rumble, the free speech livestreaming platform, had partnered with us to add a day on to Rebel News Live for “Rumble Live”, featuring their high-profile talent including Donald Trump Jr.

And Rumble decided that the events were important enough to proceed – so they just paid the entire bill themselves.

I was deeply touched by Rumble’s commitment to free speech. Even though I’m appalled that they were shaken down by Trudeau’s Canada Lands Company.

By the way, not a single protester came. Of course not. It was a fake threat.

Oh, there’s one more thing I should tell you – the local MP for Downsview Park is the atrocious Ya’ara Saks, the Trudeau cabinet minister who famously embraced the Palestinian terrorist, Mahmoud Abbas.

She hates Rebel News, and in fact, right in the middle of our conference, used her government Twitter account to denounce our conference as unwelcome and to tell the police to get involved.

It couldn’t be clearer: Trudeau and his thugs weaponized a non-partisan government agency against us because we are his political critics. They marshalled the police against us. Only the impossible generosity of Rumble allowed us to proceed.

Yet again, Trudeau and his henchmen violated our Charter rights—freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, and freedom of association—by trying to breach our contract with the event venue.

Imagine if they had succeeded: threatening a business operator with ruin and sending police to harass a lawful event – that’s the kind of thing they do in Communist China or Iran, not Canada.

But that’s what Trudeau’s rotting government is like in 2024.

I didn’t want to talk about this publicly until the conference was almost over – because we are still at the mercy of these thugs. In fact, security guards told me that Trudeau’s point-man, Allen Schacht, was trying to interfere with our guest parking even this morning. Hopefully they won’t shut us down in our final hours.

But now you know: the Trudeau Liberals tried to blackmail us.

I have consulted a senior law firm about fighting back. If you want to support us, please do. Please help us out – unlike the Trudeau Liberals, we can’t use taxpayer money to fight our battles. We just depend on you, our freedom-loving supporters.

There is a full-blown crime wave in Toronto these days. Trudeau’s henchmen took them off real policework to have them stand around our conference. Just so he could bill them to us.

Do you think the government has ever ordered pro-Hamas protesters to pay for security? To pay for portable toilets for their opponents? Apparently, that only happens to Trudeau’s critics.

We just have to fight back against this, don’t you think?

The federal government has quietly begun the creation of Personal Information Banks (PIB) to collect and store data on Canadians. We were not consulted nor informed about the creation or existence of these databases and they are being collected without our permission or knowledge. Categories of information include biometrics (DNA, blood type, eye/facial scan, fingerprints, etc), personal biography, medical history, financial history, credit information, opinions or views of or about individuals, and much more.

The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) has quietly added it to their Privacy Termsso that in order to submit an application for benefits, such as the One-Time Housing Top Up they started offering in December, you must click that you agree to terms including "...being described in Personal Information Bank (under development)" in order to submit your application. It is also a term in the Canada Pension Plan (CPP) application. It quite likely will be a term for submitting your income tax return, so read those Privacy Terms when filing your taxes this year!

The federal government is using the federal health transfers to bribe the premiers to adopt a Big Tech-style data-for-services health care system. This means that your personal health records that used to be private and confidential between you and your doctor will now be entered into the PIBs to be shared between the federal government, their stakeholders, and whoever else they decide can have access to it. (Such as WEF, WHO)

They lay it all out in their Departmental Plan for Health Canada 2022/23. There is no mention of hiring health care workers. It's all data, digitization, AI, vaccines and so on.

This is a big deal. Now is the time to make some noise. If you have a podcast, a following, a blog, a friend, please get the word out. Flood the PM, the premiers, the ministers, the CRA, anyone you can think of, with letters and phone calls. Consider sending a letter in lieu of a tax return if you are in a position to do so, or other civil disobedience. They do not have the right to just start stealing our personal information and using our own tax dollars to bribe us into compliance. What they do have is a lot of nerve!

Two days ago, Trudeau was in Alberta, promoting modular construction as a way to solve the housing crisis he created.

He chose NRB Modular Solutions as a backdrop for his press conference. NRB is part of Dexterra Group, a leading support services and solutions company in Canada.

Who recently joined Dexterra's Board of Directors? None other than Justin Trudeau's favorite "Uncle", the 28th Governor General of Canada from 2010 to 2017. Mr. David Johnston.

The Housing Crisis is intentional. It serves so many potential purposes. Taxes on capital gains, transfer of private ownership to government & corporations, 15 minute cities, more urbanization, and of course, lining the pockets of corrupt politicians.

Gertrude and William own all the stores and sell grocery, clothes and industrial supplies to Suzy, Spencer and Dwight.

This is what these 5 will pay in Carbon Tax:

Gertrude: $5000
William: $4,000
Suzy: $800
Spencer: $600
Dwight: $500

This is will be their ‘rebates’:

Gertrude: $0
William: $0
Suzy: $850
Spencer: $630
Dwight: $520

Suzy, Spencer and Dwight love the carbon tax. They got more money back than they paid (so they think). It’s like a lottery. Super awesome.

Gertrude and William got screwed.

The Supreme Emperor who invented the carbon tax, doesn’t care about Gertrude and William though. He just needs the support of the other three to stay in power.

The Supreme Emperor also knows that like him, Suzy, Spencer and Dwight aren’t very good at math and can’t figure out that their entire cost of living has increased, because Gertrude and William just raised the price of everything because the Carbon Tax made their cost of doing business more expensive. Because they pay more carbon tax and don’t get a rebate.

Suzy, Spencer and Dwight keep voting for the Supreme Emperor, because they like ‘free money’.

Gertrude and William vote to have the Supreme Emperor removed from power and Suzy, Spenser and Dwight get upset. They don’t understand why Gertrude and William despise the Supreme Emperor who gives out free money like candy.

The thing is… Suzy, Spenser and Dwight don’t even know that Gertrude and William don’t get a rebate and had to increase prices on everything, because they only watch CBC.

To celebrate his April 1st pay raise of $10,200 dollars, Trudeau is increasing the carbon tax another 23% thus making life even less affordable for Canadians during a cost of living crisis. There are 32 Conservative Members of Parliament (MPs), 22 Liberals, 20 Bloc Quebecois and six New Democrats who were elected in the 2019 election and are still sitting, but haven't been in power long enough to qualify for a life-time pension.

To qualify for their pension, which comes after six years of service, they need to be MPs until October 21, 2025, which is one day after the currently scheduled election. Canada has fixed election dates.

Anyone of those MPs who doesn't get re-elected, won't qualify for a Golden Egg. MP pensions are 30x better than anything you and I could ever expect.

Trudeau screwed this up in 2021, when he called a snap election mid-way through his term.

Now, Trudeau wants to delay the next election by 1 week, so that all these MPs can secure their pensions.
This is an egregious example of self-service, and a slap in the face to every-day Canadians. The only people who will benefit from this "law" are 80 extremely well compensated fat cats, and no one else.

The Federal Carbon Tax is increasing. In just a few years it will cost Alberta families over $2,000 per year in direct costs.

Regardless of what Ottawa says, this is not a rebate. It’s an extra tax, on top of all the taxes you already pay, to make life more unaffordable.

A majority of Canadians and provinces overwhelmingly agree that the carbon tax should be axed.
