Pale Blue Dot is a photo of Earth that was taken by the Voyager 1 space probe in 1990 from a distance of about 6 billion kilometers (3.7 billion miles) as it was leaving our solar system. This is what Carl Sagan said about the photo:

when i started working in europe, i remember how i requested for leave approval from my manager and he was like 'no, you just inform me with reasonable notice. it's part of our contract, not something i grant'

in india, I had to apply for approval, then remind him to grant the approval via emails.

We need to learn a lot with respect to work culture. The reason for it in India is no succession plan, no back up training within team, and many more. But finally, do we like to improve, or are happy with our own "interpretations"?

@narendramodi @nsitharaman @nsitharamanoffc Why doesn't the govt charge a nominal tax, say just 0.5%, to people earning under say 5 lacs per annum. It would be just Rs 2500 per person. Or similar. Majority will feel responsible and important. A good amount for govt as well.
