बिजनौर जिले के किरतपुर इलाके में बारिश के दौरान एक बेहद दुखद हादसा सामने आया है। सड़क पर पानी भरने और नाला खुला होने के कारण 12 वर्षीय किशोर नाले में गिर गया। तेज बहाव में बहने से उसकी मौत हो गई। इस घटना के बाद से ही इलाके में शोक की लहर है और परिजनों का रो-रोकर बुरा हाल है।

सब्जी दुकानदारों ने देखा, लेकिन बचा नहीं सके

किरतपुर थाना क्षेत्र के मोहल्ला अंसारियान निवासी अफजल का 12 वर��षीय बेटा हम्माद शनिवार को घर से ईदगाह रोड की ओर जा रहा था। तेज बारिश के चलते इस्लामिया इंटर कॉलेज के गेट के सामने सड़क पर भारी जलभराव हो गया था। पानी भरा होने के कारण सड़क किनारे का खुला नाला नजर नहीं आया और हम्माद उसमें जा गिरा। कॉलेज गेट के पास सब्जी की ठेली लगाने वाले लोगों ने जैसे ही मासूम को नाले में गिरते देखा, उन्होंने तुरंत शोर मचाया।

500 मीटर दूर पाइप में फंसा मिला शव

शोर सुनते ही स्थानीय लोगों ने तुरंत मासूम की तलाश शुरू कर दी। लगभग 500 मीटर दूर नाले में बिछे एक पाइप के पास हम्माद फंसा हुआ मिला। ग्रामीणों और स्थानीय लोगों ने मशक्कत के बाद उसे बाहर निकाला, लेकिन तब तक बहुत देर हो चुकी थी और बच्चे की सांसें थम चुकी थीं।
परिवार का सहारा था मासूम हम्माद दो भाइयों में एक था। उसके पिता अफजल ई-रिक्शा/रिक्शा चलाकर किसी तरह अपने परि��ार का गुजर-बसर करते हैं। मासूम बेटे की इस असमय मौत ने पूरे परिवार को तोड़कर रख दिया है।

प्रशासन की लापरवाही पर जनता में आक्रोश

इस हादसे के बाद स्थानीय निवासियों में भारी गुस्सा है। लोगों का कहना है कि अगर नाला ढका होता, तो आज मासूम की जान बच सकती थी। स्थानीय नागरिकों ने प्रशासन से मांग की है कि इलाके ��े सभी खुले नालों को तुरंत ढका जाए और जल निकासी की पुख्ता व्यवस्था की जाए ताकि भविष्य में किसी और परिवार का चिराग न बुझे।
