A husband discovers that his wife is allegedly having an affair.

He questions her about it.

Instead of answering his questions, she files a domestic violence case, a 498A case and a maintenance case against him.

The husband says he wants a divorce because he is simply not able to digest what has happened.

According to him, she was caught in a 5-star hotel with her childhood friend.

When the hotel room was opened, drinks were found lying around in the room.

But she denies that there is anything between them.

She says the man with whom she was caught is like her “brother.”

She also says that she wants to continue living with her husband.

The husband, however, wants to separate.

And when he asks for separation, the demand is:

₹2 CRORE ALIMONY.

So the question is simple:

If a woman is caught in such circumstances, and the husband no longer wants to continue the marriage, is demanding ₹2 crore the answer?

Is this how rewards are given to women in adultery?

The husband wants divorce.
She wants to stay with him.
And if he wants separation, the demand is ₹2 crore.

What exactly is the justice here?
