When 'Dividend income' received by a company is further distributed to the shareholders, 'Dividend Distribution Tax' (DDT) has to be paid AGAIN on this income
'Dividend Income' should be given PASS THROUGH status for all companies
@PMOIndia
When 'Dividend income' received by a company is further distributed to the shareholders, 'Dividend Distribution Tax' (DDT) is paid again on this income
In this case, for every Rs 100 income, tax paid is 56.6% (30+11.9+9.9+4.8)
This 'SECOND DDT' should be abolished
