@verge Dear verge,
When you're writing an article on how cheap OnePlus 8 is in india please make sure u write an article on how expensive iphone SE released a day back. Base price in india of iphone SE is more expensive than high-end variant in USA.
@SanjuBaba_IND@VedKapur@knownbyfew@PeteLau@oneplus That's whr d company has fooled us.V compare with USA prices n think dey r well https://t.co/PMJilpa4Bz b frank it's still expensive fr indian sensitive market .Moreover, there'll b T variant of same fone cmin with more add-ons in September, once covid19 chaos is completely done.
@elod_gubcsi @knownbyfew@SanjuBaba_IND@PeteLau@oneplus True. It's boring for non-apple users. Indians are more into piracy, apple won't capture indian market since iOS is a closed ended platform. However hard they try it won't happen, atleast in this decade for sure , until and unless ppl here start paying for their entertainment.
@elod_gubcsi @knownbyfew@SanjuBaba_IND@PeteLau@oneplus I doubt they'll be interested unless they're upgrading from previous iphones. For someone who wants to buy a feature rich bezel less device , they would go for an android manufacturer, preferably a Chinese one at that price point
@knownbyfew@SanjuBaba_IND@PeteLau@oneplus Agree to that . But rooting has very less fanbase now compared to what it was during samsung and nexus era, so many ppl care for phone's two year life-span, they eventually upgrade.
@knownbyfew@SanjuBaba_IND@PeteLau@oneplus That's good for them as a manufacturer. But for their fans who got them to this level of popularity, had hopes on them n it just shattered after price increase. Realme/oppo/Xiaomi will have to fill that place now by introducing an incredible flagship killer.
@knownbyfew@SanjuBaba_IND@PeteLau@oneplus Well, nevertheless it's gonna be the end of their popularity in Indian market. We are price sensitive market, waiting to opt for a better alternative.
