The central question emerging from yesterday's 07th June, 2026 incidents at Shokvao, Finch Corner, and New Haven is not one of loyalty, but of operational consistency. *Why does the Assam Rifles adopt a visibly restrained posture when confronting Kuki militants armed with sophisticated weaponry, yet employ aggressive crowd-control tactics including tear gas, blank firing, and lathi charges against unarmed Naga women and civilians?*

*The Analytical Breakdown:*

1. *Disparity in Use of Force*: Against armed Kuki militant groups, reports suggest tactical caution or de-escalation. Against unarmed Naga protesters, many of them women and mothers, the response has shifted to direct physical suppression. *This disparity raises a legitimate question: Is the use of force determined by the level of threat, or by the identity of the group?*

2. *Shifting the Blame*: In response to these events, *some voices from Kuki quarters have attempted to deflect accountability by blaming the Naga women themselves*. This is a logical fallacy. Criticizing unarmed civilians especially women for being subjected to state force does not address the core issue: the disproportionate and seemingly selective application of that force. *Blaming the victim does not explain away documented disparities in tactical behavior.*

3. *The Core Inconsistency*: _If the Assam Rifles are capable of restraint when facing heavily armed militants, that same restraint should logically apply to peaceful, unarmed civilian assemblies_. The failure to apply a consistent standard suggests either a breakdown in command protocol or a targeted operational bias.

*Conclusion and Demand for Analytical Justice:*

The Naga public is not asking for preferential treatment. *They are asking for equal treatment under a consistent standard of law.*

_If the law permits tear gas and batons for unarmed women, it must also permit the same level of confrontation against armed militants. If the law protects militants from aggressive action, it must extend that same protection to civilians._

Therefore, the Naga people demand *an independent, data-driven investigation* into yesterday's incidents. The Government of India must identify whether these tactical disparities were the result of lawful orders or institutional bias. *Those found responsible for any excessive or inconsistent use of force must be held accountable.*

*Justice is not selective. Accountability cannot be assigned by community loyalty. The evidence is in the video. Judge accordingly.*
