Democracy is dead in India!
I have lost a 500-ruper note and I believe my neighbour stole it. I don't have any proof that he did, but he, too, is not proving that he didn't. I am thinking of marching to Delhi to demand resignation of the RBI Governor.
just a theory: what if Elon was asked to tweet against Ambani by the govt to clear this cjp mess. What if this was what asked from Elon for issuing him license in India. what if..
dekho seedhi baat mai khud itna right wing nahi hu jitna elon musk hai theek hai.
Good to see Kamal Haasan putting national interest above politics!
We may have our political differences, but when it comes to the nation, we must be willing to rise above them.
India must always come before partisan politics.
That is the spirit of a mature democracy.
Nadeem Ahmed from News Ayina is sharing deepfake videos of Delhi cops harassing girls.
He has confessed to the crime and has been arrested.
He was paid by the CJP handlers to make such videos
Indian snacks in Canada are... different.
In a good way.
Canada is enforcing a new policy where packaged foods high in saturated fats, sugars, and sodium need unavoidable front-of-package labels disclosing their composition.
Similar to cigarettes.
When I returned to India I couldn't help but miss these labels. During my month in Canada, these labels were the difference between me impulsively picking an unhealthy snack up off the shelf and leaving it there. The label is essentially the government saying, "This food is bad for you. It is linked to chronic diseases. Eat it at your own risk." Given the abundance of healthier options that didn't have these labels (because they weren't high in sat fat, sugars, or sodium), I'd often take a step or two down the aisle and purchase a similar but healthier product in the same category. Easy.
I wish FSSAI would implement something similar in India, so that Indian consumers can make healthier and more informed decisions without having to parse complex back-of-package nutrition labels.
