She is Mona Bugaliya.

She wanted to be a cop. Gave the exam in 2021, failed, but didn’t lose hope. Changed her name to Mooli Devi, forged documents, and joined the Jaipur Police Academy as a trainee SI.

She began mingling with senior cops, made reels with IPS in uniform, and became popular in police circles. She played tennis with the ADG and was even invited to the wedding of a former DGP's daughter.

Then she began extorting money from people by threatening action against them. People complied. The scam unravelled when she threatened a woman SI, who reported it. The investigation revealed there was no record of either Mona Bugaliya or Mooli Devi in service. Mona was arrested.

But Mona isn’t the main issue. The real question is, what kind of system does the police have? She trained at the academy for two years as a fake cop and no one noticed. What kind of documentation and security is this? You do police verification for everyone else, but not your own before they join the academy?
