Recently, we have seen various movements organized by certain groups, claiming to lead "educational protests" for student welfare. However, a closer look at the narrative reveals a deeply concerning reality: these platforms are being hijacked to push a blatant political and ideological agenda, with absolutely zero focus on actual students' issues.
If this is genuinely an educational protest, we need to ask a very basic question: Where is the discussion about the education system?
In a protest supposedly meant for students, the most pressing academic issues are completely ignored.

Instead of fighting for students' rights, the stage is being entirely consumed by groups using it to amplify divisive political agendas. The slogans being shouted have absolutely nothing to do with education. We are hearing chants like:
"Bharat tere tukde honge"
"Bas naam rahega Allah ka"
"Bharat agar hamari mata hai toh Bharat ka baap kaun hai?"
Furthermore, the core educational platform is being forcibly merged with unrelated social and ideological battles. Instead of demanding better education, the focus is entirely shifted to slogans like:
"Brahmanvad se chhutkara"
"Mera ling, meri marzi"
The insertion of LGBTQ+ activism into a space meant for academic grievances.
While people are free to debate social ideologies in a democratic country, how do these slogans qualify as an "educational protest"? How does chanting against the country or fighting ideological battles help a student who is struggling with the NEET exam discrepancies or systemic flaws in our education system
