🚨 Vibgyor High School Road, Panathur–Thubarahalli: A Traffic Disaster Waiting to Get Worse 🚧⚠️
These 3 G-maps tell the story better than words.
A stretch of barely 1.5–2 km on Vibgyor High School Road is routinely taking commuters 25–30 minutes to cross during peak hours. The first half alone consumes nearly 13 minutes, while the second half takes another 12 minutes, turning a short drive into an exhausting daily ordeal.
What's even more alarming is that this is no longer just a congestion issue- it's becoming a serious road safety crisis.

Despite repeated complaints from residents and commuters, there has been little visible progress. The pending road-leveling work remains incomplete, and there has been no meaningful update from GBA officials on timelines or corrective action.
This corridor serves thousands of residents, school buses, office commuters, emergency vehicles, and public transport users every single day. Yet commuters continue to face gridlock, unsafe driving conditions, and avoidable delays.
📢 We urge:
✅ Bengaluru Traffic Police to deploy strict enforcement and lane management measures immediately.
✅ GBA and concerned authorities to expedite the pending road-leveling and bottleneck-removal work.
✅ GBA officials to publicly share timelines, progress updates, and accountability measures for this stretch.
The people of Panathur, Gunjur, Balagere, and Varthur cannot be expected to normalize spending half an hour to travel less than two kilometres.
Enough studies. Enough delays. This stretch needs immediate intervention before it claims more time, productivity, and lives.

@consaff Consumer Helpline Portal doesn’t hear consumers. My cases (8684461 & 8639824) were closed just on company feedback, but @EurekaForbes never resolved my concern. If the portal sides only with companies, why exist? It should hear both parties.

@EurekaForbes Paid full AMC to @EurekaForbes for my Aquaguard purifier. Technician failed to detect a major PCB fault. We unknowingly consumed unpurified water despite active AMC. Refund denied citing “policy.” Extremely disappointed with the negligence and lack of accountability.

Carpooling can get private vehicles off the road & bring ease during peak hour commute.
Vehicular population has increased by 6,000% since 1990, making Bengaluru, a city with highest vehicle density that commutes at 15kmph.
A ban on car-pooling only encourages congestion, the last thing people of Bengaluru would want to experience.
Karnataka Motor Vehicle Rules, 1989 are outdated & insufficient to meet the needs of present day.
Penalizing citing rules will only add to the mobility crisis in the city.
Karnataka Govt should prioritize 'Quality of Life' over outdated rules & encourage innovation among ridesharing apps to decongest the city.
