@readingg8r We had the same situation at my school. Word came down from ‘on high.’ District office, Fine Arts Supervisor, Principals, individual schools. Yet classroom teachers allowed it to happen. When I voiced my concern to admin, she giggled. 🤬

The purpose of school is not childcare *just like* the purpose of music, art, and PE is not to give homeroom teachers planning time. It’s a huge benefit, for sure, but not its purpose.
