Our Year 9 Captain & Eco-Warrior presented to 100+ people from around Europe 🤯 He was eloquent, persuasive & fluent when sharing all the initiatives the eco team have implemented in school, as well as our action plan. He was also the youngest speaker! 👏 @yeec22 @EcoSchools

A superb example of just how brilliant and talented our young people are. @BarkingAbbeySch Miss Ahmed’s Yr 11s, this one stood out because of the lock in front of the food. A strikingly sad, but real message. #endchildfoodpoverty #endfoodpoverty @MarcusRashford gets a mention!#rt

The Met Office is warning everyone to take special care on Friday as Storm Eunice arrives. Strong winds are forecast & storm damage could cause power cuts. If you experience a power cut later this week call 105 to report it or visit https://t.co/PnzLPFGqqM. Stay safe ♥️

[Yasmin @yasminltmedia]

Create clear & responsible posters to highlight the @MetOffice Red National Severe Weather Warning for #StormEunice to keep people safe. @OneMinuteBriefs

[Met Office @metoffice]

The #JetStream is a fast moving ribbon of air, several miles above the earth's surface

#StormEunice is under a powerful part of the jet stream, where winds are close to 200 mph and this will help #Eunice to rapidly strengthen during the next 12-24 hours as it crosses the UK

[Met Office @metoffice]

⚠️⚠️🔴 Another Red Weather Warning Issued 🔴⚠️⚠️

Another Red Weather Warning has been issued for much of the south and southeast for #StormEunice.

India provided 1.2 million soldiers to the allied war effort in WW1, more than the combined armies of Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales. 74,000 of them died. They have often been forgotten and overlooked. #WeWillRememberThem

I wish I had the words to describe the exceptional man that was Sean Lock. But today I don’t, and I think he might have liked it that way.

We're very sad to hear the news of Una Stubbs' passing today.

Una played Mrs Alexander in the original production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time (2012) and also appeared at the NT in Mrs Holt in Pillars of the Community (2005).

She will be greatly missed.
