This week 38 landholders helped to mix 830kms of OneShot rabbit oats, 1716kg of feral pig baited grain and distributed 1500 meat baits across our region. Coordinated control is the most effective control of declared pests.

Put some pork on your fork and join the NBG for a social afternoon at the Lavender Valley Farm (Chapman Valley). Find out how to protect this region from African Swine Fever + presentation on Feral Pig GPS collaring project. RSVP essential. @FeralTwit@StateNRMProgram
How exciting! First pig collared as part of our feral pig monitoring project. Big thanks to @FeralTwit and @StateNRMProgram to make this project happen. Now wait (hopefully not too long) to get some valuable data on feral pig behaviour in broad acre farming environs @AlannahMac
Feral pigs an issue for you? Or want to know more about Rabbit and Fox control on smaller blocks? Join us for an informative afternoon with some drinks and dinner provided.
A research collaboration between @unimelb, @ParksVictoria, @DELWP_Vic, @ConservationEC and @TSR_Hub has delivered a tool which can dramatically improve fox control programs. FoxNet can simulate fox populations to plan and test programs. https://t.co/KeKJ1OEQ3f

This is what 1.5 tons of #feralpig looks like. Caught in just 2 trap nights using @feralmanagement remote trigger trap gate. Manage the mob, not the individual. And prefeed, prefeed, prefeed! #trapthemall@nbg_eo @westauscanids @WMG_WA @PestSmartAU @GroupMIG
The cactoblastis moth is one of Australia’s biggest success stories in biological control of invasive species. Originally from Argentina the moth helped to clean up over 7 million hectares of cactus infested land in QLD by 1930. We're doing our bit to help it spread @WeedSmartAU https://t.co/vZGtUVhEIa
Feral pig and rabbit landholder survey extension to the 30th of May. Great to see the most respondents came from the NBG area! If you're seeding and can spare 5 minutes, please follow link https://t.co/bTnbOa43yn Results will assist landholders to better manage these pests.
Have you got any cactus that is spreading in your garden or on your property. Please feel free to join the NBG next week for a field walk in Northampton and learn about suitable control options. @NRM_WA@NACC_NRM @DPIRD_WA @WeedSmartAU
