@akohli That commercial machine will be absolutely at the end of its life, all brew groups will need to be rebuilt, the boiler will need to be descaled, potentially electronic problems. Also, 3+ litre boiler takes over an hour and lots of money to heat.

Dark UI pattern at the self check-in: have the user do something time-consuming where they are not looking at the screen, like, say, attaching baggage tags, then time out on them. It is possible to start the process again and get boarding passes, but so easy to forget.
