Standing up for your reserved 2AC seat,and allegedly paying a huge price for it.

On Train No. 13024 Gaya Howrah Express, a woman allegedly said just one thing

"This is a reserved 2AC coach. An unauthorized passenger cannot occupy our seat."

According to the allegations,
the situation escalated almost immediately.

The man allegedly started abusing the passengers

Then reportedly called 8-10 people to the train.

The passengers immediately informed the TTE and also filed a complaint through Rail Madad and 139.

They even warned in advance that they feared they were about to be assaulted.

However, it is alleged that no effective action was taken in time.

A short while later, the same man allegedly returned with a group

and the woman's husband was allegedly assaulted in front of their 4 year old child.

If passengers do not feel safe even after reporting a threat inside a reserved 2AC coach,

who can they trust for their safety ?

If an unauthorized person occupied your reserved 2AC seat

and no action was taken despite informing the TTE and Rail Madad,

what would you do ?

Should Indian railways make the TTE and RPF immediately accountable in such situations ?
