What is a micro-decision?
We make large decisions, like what job to take, and small decisions like whether to wear blue or red. In rehabilitation, smaller decisions are made as well, like what music might help a patient be more alert. We call these micro-decisions
We see decision-making as a process that happens during interactions among care partners and practitioners and a lot of factors can influence whether these decisions are collaborative. This model aims to help us understand how decision-making happens in clinical encounters #AHRQ
