‘Cheat meal’, ‘junk food’..the use of language like this is just setting kids up to have a negative relationship with food. Food doesn’t have a moral value. The world isn’t going to stop if chicken tenders are a menu option once a week.

Would this be suggested of any other profession? I highly doubt it.
Excessive working hours & longer working weeks are not in the best interest of patient safety.
We need more staff but also the increased bed capacity, operating theatres & other resources to go along with it.

Growing up, I was told I was ‘smart’ but there was also a distinct attitude that someone like me wouldn’t make a doctor. I left school early without even applying to medicine. A subsequent attempt to get back to school wasn’t supported so I gave up. I have always regretted it.

To be honest, living above a gay bar blasting out Celine Dion sounds like a bit of a life goal to me. Maybe in retirement if all the kids have moved out!
