Wetlands, forests, and pastures in Niger play a significant role in the preservation of biodiversity, mitigating the effects of climate change. But for years, this area has been experiencing severe desertification and loss of biodiversity, with serious impacts on the communities.
With the project "Landscape Restoration for Ecosystem Recovery" they aim to restore landscapes, and ecosystem services, building sustainable livelihoods for 53 communities in an area of 40,000 hectares. And that's just the beginning...
