We are so saddened to hear about the loss of a great hero — someone who made the world feel both smaller and more connected.
Through NASA astronaut Jim Lovell’s storytelling, he didn’t just show us the vastness of space — he brought us along with him. And through his actions, he showed us the immensity of his courage.
I can remember exactly where I was when he spoke about the Apollo 13 mission at the Alltech ONE Conference in 2016: on the edge of my seat.
I remember thinking, “How can this man bring this story to life so vividly after telling it as many times as there are stars in the sky?” Yet it felt as if he was speaking just to me, sharing the tale for the very first time.
That talk remains one of the best I have ever heard. At the time, I would never have imagined how impactful his lessons would become for me:
“You have to be able to think outside the box,” said Lovell. “You need good leadership. Be prepared, so that you won’t panic. You have to take what you have, figure out who can help you, and work through it.”
Thank you, Captain Lovell, for showing us that leadership isn’t just about having the answers. It’s about staying calm under pressure, staying curious and bringing others along with you.
You made the world feel smaller — and yet, your legacy is larger than life.
Collaboration multiplies our collective impact.
Imagine what is possible when we all work toward the shared goal of creating a world of abundance for future generations.

@orangeblaze@AndrewYang According to the IRS they can choose calendar or fiscal. I would imagine calendar is easier for most since they are so busy at the end of the year. But I’m not an expert on the subject. https://t.co/zpyU6ddr9e
@orangeblaze@AndrewYang Most non-profits receive the bulk of their donations at the end of the year, so I would imagine govt. funding early in the year is key to making it to the end of the year donation cycle. Having funding now helps them plan and carry out activities throughout the year.
1/ My father often said, "When you find your why, you find your how." For Notre Dame football, it felt like the program had lost its “why” — and with it, the pride and dominance of an 11-time champion.

@sweatystartup Wait until you have a Pappy 46. Pappy 23 + Dr. Pepper. Real bourbon drinkers know what I’m talking about. It’s the only way to drink the stuff tbh.
This automated post across, what I am assuming is some sort of realtor advocacy program facilitated by @dlvrit, shows how easy it is to manipulate the trends @elonmusk. “Mortgage rates will come down” has no likes or replies, it’s just spam.
