You don’t need to understand why people mistreat you. You don’t need to unpack their motives. You don’t need to centre their narrative. You just need to know that their behaviour is unacceptable and separate yourself from such harm. Centre your safety.
A 10-year-old girl was denied abortion services in Ohio.
10.
So no, I’m not ok with the Democratic Party’s response federally simply being “vote in November.”
Residents in my state can’t wait till November and 10-year-olds can’t vote.

@Starlynk1@straathovian@lolacoaster From a follow up to the study: "Little is known about the relatively few abortions occurring in the third trimester, although late detection of fetal anomaly, and increasing incidence of maternal health complications with advanced gestation suggest...." https://t.co/pHe2k3cF3W
@Starlynk1@straathovian@lolacoaster That's incorrect. This comes specifically from a study "published in 2013 by Foster and Katrina Kimport on women who got abortions for reasons other than a danger to life or health or a fetal anomaly." https://t.co/e7EbixqopS
Majority shouldn't have to suffer because of generational privelege, entrenched white supremacy and systems that have allowed mass disenfranchisement, disengagement, and distrust of politicians. Gerrymandering? Political families? Lobbists & govt officials playing trading places?
The conversations happening right now are frankly disgusting. Moving to a state that offers better healthcare, or a living wage, childcare benefits, etc. does not resolve those things being inaccessible for most.
Breaking News: The Supreme Court has privately voted to strike down Roe v. Wade, according to a leaked draft of its majority opinion published by Politico. https://t.co/DVfKUd6J1l

@CajunMSTeacher I get that this was well intentioned and probably overreacted to. As a former student who suffers from chronic pain, public call outs don't always feel good, & can cause fear/shame. Often unintentionally reinforced peer rumors I had HIV by bringing attention to absences.
