I say, "I've left it to Allah," and genuinely mean it, but then I catch myself making dua for it all day, praying extra nafl, and overthinking it again. The battle between tawakkul and desire is no joke. 😭

@Thoughtful1_ Another thing I would say that it is normal to feel such a way and to fear even about whether the spouse you get isn’t good. But stick with Dua, Istighfar, certainty that Allah knows your fears and you will have the best outcome. Bi’ithnillah

@Thoughtful1_ My advice to the sister, is you fearing to be a bad wife is a sign enough that you intend good. That’s a fear (not in its deepest sense) both genders should have in order to be just or to learn properly the rights of each other and their own to be considered a special spouse.

I was very much disheartened by not receiving or achieving things in the “perfect time,” but reality is if you look into every story the Quran tells, everyone’s timing was quite different. Each story and event occurred at its perfect timing that Allah willed. Leave time to him.
