hay to all filo k-pop stans out there, i hope you guys are watching the senate and impeachment trials as much as you watch your faves. tignan nโyo kung paano tayo tinatrato ng mga binoboto at iniluluklok natin sa puwesto.
everything is political, kahit sa k-pop. hindi lang ito tungkol sa idols or fanwars. politics affects our education, trabaho, healthcare, rights, at kinabukasan. you can stream your faves and still stay informed at the same time.
and donโt even start with, โeh kung walang concert dito ng faves ko, edi pupunta ako ng ibang bansa.โ thatโs not even the point. not everyone has the privilege to fly abroad, and people shouldnโt have to leave the country just to access opportunities or experiences. if artists and events keep skipping the philippines, maybe ask why. look at the bigger picture instead of brushing it off.
artists and tour organizers donโt just randomly skip countries. there are many factors they considerโtaxes, logistics, venue availability, infrastructure, security, regulations, market conditions, and the overall business environment. government policies can influence those conditions, even if theyโre not the only reason. so instead of acting like itโs completely unrelated to politics, maybe look at the bigger picture.
support your idols, but donโt stop paying attention to whatโs happening in our country. being a k-pop stan and being politically aware can coexist. hold those in power accountable.
there is a reason talaga :(( kasi even the artist who alr announced a manila stop changed it to a diff country/city ๐ at the end, ligwak din manila hahaha kaya di talaga pwedeng apolitical kaya, in this economy ??
๐ not en- related but to everyone who is still undecided who to vote on monday, hereโs my list of senatorial candidates that you may want to consider :)
letโs exercise our power to vote. para sa pilipinas.
