【5x20 FUKUOKA 11/30】
S: I can recall many memories from the past 20 years. I remember many faces. For example, there was a fan of mine during the arena concert days who always had an uchiwa for me. One day, she flipped it over and it read, “I’m getting married!”

When you think “the national idol group of Japan,” there really is only one answer, now & probably for centuries to come. They are historical, legendary, & will live on in the hearts of many they have touched & inspired through their music and character. https://t.co/hZwwjnl58j
Five is definitely has the unmistakable Arashi sound, even though it breaks my heart that this is their last song together, the message, melodies, & harmonies are so uplifting & joyful 🥹 They may have gotten off the bus to go their different ways, but the “5” will remain forever

Ohno’s closing speech—
(WARNING: He cried 😭)
O: Thank you so much for today. We performed 50 shows during this 5x20 tour and welcomed our 20th year. This is all thanks to you. We’ve experienced so much these past 20 years. #ohnowords
January 27, 2019 then May 6, 2025
Arashi gave us 2 years to process the hiatus then now, giving us a year to process and accept the end.
You are indeed the best boy group I, we could ever know/have, #ARASHI#嵐 🌈
They won’t ever make new music together again. They won’t ever stand on stage as Arashi again.
But. Arashi will remain. It is not broken. It doesn’t cease to exist. They’re still there. They’ll still be there. Because 5-1=0. Because Arashi is forever.
I thought that giving it a day or so would help me sort out my emotions… but I still don’t know how to explain these feelings. I grew up with Arashi. They were a part of my every day for over two decades.
Word choice is important. In May 2026, Arashi is not disbanding; they are ceasing activities as a group.
For some, those two are interchangeable and mean the same thing. To me, the latter is more kind, more thoughtful.
Sorry, Toma. Your apology is making it worse 😞
The “I’m sorry” is a very childish way to apologize; the Japanese language has much stronger wording if you want to truly mean it.
The use of exclamation points in a public apology ❌
Informal wording the last two sentences ❌
